The math, out loud: five scrubber cycles. Boarding flagged the hull; patrol vectors at undock; the plan is jump the second the collar releases. Every extra body and every extra minute is a number Sen recomputes in front of you.
Exit-2 con defense — ONE verification instinct (pick before the session):
- asks a detail only the dead would know, or
- demands a comms handshake, or
- wants to see a body or ID tag.
Evidence (stolen tags, doctored manifest entry, forced answers) upgrades the con's pool. Threat = suspicion mounts. Despair = Sen knows — and pretends not to. If deceived and later certain: bides time. Session 2 thread.
Head-of-the-Table warning from playtest: a "reasonable instruction" can end the whole negotiation. Narrate a cost if a talent skips this scene.
